Yale Acquires Halverson Collection
The Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library at Yale University is acquiring a substantial archive of Karen Halverson photographs. The acquisition concentrates on Halverson’s work from the American West where she has photographed the natural and cultural landscape for more than twenty years. The photographs are to be part of the Beinecke’s Division of Western Americana. To date, the Beinecke has acquired the three bodies of work listed below. Additional bodies of work will be acquired annually.
