For several decades I have been making photographs that comment on how we encounter, occupy, and alter the landscape, whether it’s the Colorado River, the Dakota plains, the levees in New Orleans, or Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles. Sometimes  in my wanderings  I find beauty, sometimes desecration, often an absurd and perplexing combination.  I invite  you to review the bodies of work listed above and see for yourself.   You might also want to click on news/blog to learn about current or upcoming exhibitions, and to see work in progress.
